Erin Mohr had no idea where her gender identity journey would land. In 2016 she was a man; married, living in Seattle, and working in a job she didn't love at a video game company. The sale of that company empowered Erin to quit her job and start a new life. Her first challenge was battling a lifelong depression, which led her to understand that she was a transgender woman. Erin's wife was supportive; however, wasn't attracted to women and the marriage ended soon after. Once she embraced her truth, her childhood passion for stand up comedy was rekindled. Comedy then gave life to Erin's voice and a desire to grow that voice led her to Los Angeles. She soon discovered that the transformative work of comedy was so much bigger than she. Now, Erin is dedicated to sharing her story with others.
